Just discoverd them and seems they have been around since 2001 with line up changes. They have recent noteriey because of there tune on the movie soundtrack for Drive. Kill for Love is the new record and from what I heard it's very chill.

Silversun Pickups

Some say they sound like the smashing pumpkins in the early 90's I can see some influence but not enough to make that comprasine completly stick.  They have a great uniqe sound all there own, distorted guitar and great drumming and get lost in these albums for hours.  One of my favorite Bands of the past couple years, I missed a great distored guitar sound and they finally brought it back.

Chadwick Stokes

Chadwick Stokes, is a American musician that recently released a Solo Effort Simmerkane II  with  a great song called Coffee and Wine (bonus track),. This album is about his adventures train jumping across the united states.  Great songwriting throughout.  Also part of a band called Dispatch.  Should also be checked out.

Jack White

We may of heard of him and his Band the White Stripes, but he has several other projects and a solo album out that are all fantastic.  Check out The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and His Solo effort, Blunderbuss.
They all have there one unique sound with the Raconteurs being a little lighter to The Dead Weather which is dark and dirty.  All quite fun stuff here especially if you love the Blues.

This Blog is all bout music, Some of it is a little more known but most is stuff that is off the radar.
